The focus is on high performance computing (HPC), which also includes blockchain technology and the mining of cryptocurrencies, as well as the field of artificial intelligence. Bitkern has been offering professional market participants access to promising technologies and to the cryptocurrency market and their underlying technology, through specialised concepts since 2019. In order to continue our ambitious growth goals in the emerging market of high performance computing (HPC) and data center operations, we are strengthening our successful team in the USA. We are therefore looking for an IT Manager (m/f).

Your tasks:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated from the Help Desk team
• Remote management of the data center
• Coordinate with IT team members, outside vendors, and consultants
• Maintain inventory of various types of hardware
• Document and update internal procedures
• Manage shipments/ Documentation
• Support and optimization of existing operational processes
• Participation in the continuous improvement as well as automation of IT processes

Your profile:

• Associates degree in a computer-related field preferred. Or significant relevant experience
• Driver's License (Required)
• Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Watertown, NY 13601 before starting work (Preferred)
• Basic IT knowledge and Network skills
• Ability to learn and support new and rapidly changing technologies
• Ability to quickly research solutions regarding technical issues
• Fast learner
• Ability to fix small issues such as electrical or mechanical problems in the facility
• A desire to optimize processes
• Self-driven and motivated
• Office 365
